Clothing pieces are arranged in the order they appear on the body (from the
inside out, from the top down), major pieces first, then accessories.

Leed: Sewing
Your Smock Together
EB comment: I prefer to leave my gussets in one square piece and inserting
them into the sleeve and side seams rather than cutting them into triangles
so I can sew the sleeve, gusset, side seam and gore in one long seam.
I find this leaves much more ease in the gusset and they're more comfortable
as a consequence.

Leed: Making
an Elizabethan Bodice Pattern
EB comment: I trimmed about 1.5-2 inches from the bottom of this bodice
to bring the waistline up to the narrowest part of my torso. A vanity
to encourage the perception that I have a slim waist.
